When a major character like Alex is killed, the original story - the first seven books - get ruined. killing Alex ruined completely artime universe for me. However, since the beginning of the quests, that's when it really started, the decreasing quality of the characters, specially Alex. Alex and Aaron is or was my favorite characters.
But I gave this collection an opportunity, because is a fiction/fantasy type of book - my favorite type of story - but for me Lisa McMann failed when she killed Alex Stowe.
